Team takes opposition from behind

It was do or die for the Rhyl-on-Sea Giants pinball team last Wednesday in Game 5 of their Semi-final series with Cockermouth rivals - The Ogres.
The task was straightforward for the Giants - win and extend the series to a game six or lose and see their 2008 season come to an end.
However, it seemed that the Rhyl-on-Sea Giants were not up to the challenge of the vintage Addams Family and Munsters tables.
Fighting for their playoff lives, the Ogres played their machines with energy and determination, pinging their way to a 543,765,921 point lead after only 32 minutes.
With only 28 minutes to go before the end of the game, Giants manager, George Denbigh, made the fateful decision to bring on substitute Joshua West.
Badly injured in a tragic ironing accident only three days ago, 14 year old West suffered brain damage and was left without sight, hearing or speech.
But the incident has obviously not damaged West's playing style as he managed to bring Rhyl-on-Sea back into the lead swiftly and managed to skilfully place his ball into Morticia Addams's sensuously beckoning lipsticked mouth, earning himself a 500,000,000,000 point bonus - a feat only performed twice before in league history.
Speaking after the match, coach Matthew Towyn revealed West's secret,"He stands like a statue and becomes part of the machine, feeling all the bumpers, always playing clean.
"He plays by intuition, the digit counters fall. That deaf, dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean pinball."
Man of the match Joshua West spoke to the seaside News through a system of skin taps and foot stamping.
"I ain't got no distractions, Can't hear those buzzers and bells," He said. "Don't see lights a flashing, I play by sense of smell.
"I always gets a replay and I never tilts at all.
"I'm a deaf, dumb and blind kid and I sure play a mean pinball."
Following their victory, the Rhyl-on-Sea Giants will go into the finals against the Australian team, the Tittybong Swingers.
